The creator calls this the best breakfast sandwich they've ever made, opting for a folded/omelette-style egg instead of scrambled to keep the sandwich intact. A unique and delicious take on a breakfast burger.
1. Combine 1 egg, a few splashes of heavy cream or coffee creamer, and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
2. Form the ground sausage into a burger-sized patty and fry on both sides for 2-4 minutes or until completely cooked. Cook the bacon as well until crispy. Remove both and set aside.
3. Whisk together 2 eggs and a pinch of salt. Add to a non-stick skillet over medium heat and do NOT stir. Allow the eggs to slightly cook, then add a slice of American cheese on the center. Fold all of the sides of the egg into the center and remove the folded egg from the pan.
4. Dip the King Hawaiian hamburger buns in the egg mixture (from step 1) and sear on both sides until browned.
5. Assemble the sandwich with the sausage patty, bacon, folded cheese egg, and seared buns. Garnish with syrup and enjoy!
